Model Behavior  participated in Orlando's Shampooch! 2010 Dog Washing Fundraiser & Street Festival to benefit the Harbor House  Women's Shelter on June 27, 2010 at the Lambs Eat Ivy Salon.
Florida Institute of Animal Arts invited Model Behavior founder, Brian Gisi, to give a lecture on July 13, 2010  for students and faculty on the subject of animal behavior theory and training basics.
The Central Florida Cavalier Club invited Model Behavior founder, Brian Gisi, to speak at their March 2010 event and demonstrate his unqiue approach to pet training based on animal behavioral theory.

New television footage from weekly sports segment hosted by WJLA (Washington, D.C.) sportscaster Rene Knott during the 1996 football season features Brian Gisi and his training skills with Reston Animal Park's African Elephant, Sukari.

Brian trained Sukari to predict the outcome of each Monday Night Football game through various behaviors against Washington Redskins head coach Norv Turner's predictions.

Houndhaven's mission is to rescue dogs and puppies from euthanasia at kill shelters and place them in loving homes or other care facilities.  Houndhaven operates entirely on donations and with the help of 
volunteers, including the founder of Model Behavior Animal Training, Brian Gisi.  Brian recently hosted an educational training program for local pet owners affiliated with Houndhaven, offering them his behavioral conditioning expertise and training guidance on May 15, 2011.

annual Houndhaven
charity event on November 18, 2012.
Founder Brian Gisi was a featured presenter at this year’s event on November 10, 2012, speaking on the topic of animal training as preventive medicine. He discussed how investing in training and behavioral
conditioning for your animal can help ensure that healthcare is delivered in a manner that is less traumatic and safer for both pet and caregiver.
Brian was at the annual Posh Pooch Festival in Celebration, FL on February 16, 2013.

Brian gave a guest lecture for students enrolled in the Occupational Therapy Assistant program at Adventist University of Health Services in Orlando. Brian has been working with  the
program’s professor, Nicole Scheiman, in preparing her dog, Hope, for therapy work. Brian and Nicole combined forces to lecture her students on how Hope assists patients that are involved in the university’s occupational therapy program. Nicole explained the general role of a therapy canine and shared specific examples of how she expects Hope to work with patients. Brian followed up by describing how they addressed some of the training challenges that they faced while getting Hope ready for her Canine Good Citizen (CGC) and Therapy Dog International (TDI) certifications.
Brian traveled to Leesburg, Virginia recently to consult with the animal care team at Leesburg Animal Park. Park owners asked for Brian's assistance addressing a few specific behavioral problems that

they were encountering with some of their animal residents. In addition, Brian spent several days coaching the animal care staff on fudamental principles of animal learning, protected vs. free contact interaction, behavioral conditioning and diet preparation. Over the course of four days, Brian worked collectively with 10 different members of the animal care team and 7 different species of animals.
